When the marketplace and authorized contractors may contact you.
Effective date: July 18, 2026
1. Free estimate access
A phone number is not required merely to view the preliminary residential estimator result. Marketing consent is not bundled into access to that result.
2. Transactional communications
When you request bids, create an account, submit a commercial or new-construction project, apply as a contractor, use payment features, or ask for support, AZ Roof Estimator may send email, text, phone, and platform messages reasonably related to that request.
3. Contractor contact
Homeowner contact information may be released only to contractors authorized through the marketplace workflow, such as selection, inspection request, or another clear affirmative action. Contractors may contact the user only for the authorized project and must honor contact preferences and opt-out requests.
4. Marketing communications
Promotional email, text, automated calls, prerecorded calls, and unrelated marketing require any consent mandated by applicable law. Marketing consent is not a condition of receiving the preliminary estimate or purchasing roofing services where prohibited.
5. No unlimited seller consent
A request for marketplace bids is not unlimited permission for unidentified companies to send unrelated marketing messages. Each contractor remains responsible for its own communications compliance.
6. Opt-out and revocation
Marketing consent may be revoked using the method provided in the message or by contacting support. Transactional messages necessary to complete an active request, maintain security, process payment, or respond to support may continue where permitted.
7. Recordkeeping
The platform may retain consent text, version, timestamp, source page, user action, IP address, device information, and related records to document authorization and resolve disputes.
