How information is handled across the estimator and roofing marketplace.
Effective date: July 18, 2026
1. Information we collect
We may collect property addresses, location and aerial data, roof measurements, project details, photos, plans, reports, solar and rooftop-equipment information, contact information, account records, contractor credentials, bid activity, selections, contracts, payment status, support messages, complaints, consent records, IP addresses, device information, and service-usage data.
2. How we use information
Information is used to provide preliminary estimates, create project packages, match eligible contractors, operate sealed bidding, protect direct contact information, provide private portals, verify credentials, process marketplace payments, prevent abuse, support projects, investigate complaints, improve the service, and meet legal or contractual obligations.
3. Information shared with contractors
Project information needed to evaluate and bid may be shared with invited contractors. Direct homeowner contact information is restricted during initial bidding and is released only through an authorized selection, inspection, or direct-contact workflow. Contractors may not use marketplace information for unrelated marketing, resale, unauthorized door knocking, or disclosure to third parties.
4. Commercial and new-construction documents
Plans, specifications, addenda, reports, photographs, and proposal materials may be shared with approved participants in the relevant bid room. Users must have authority to upload and distribute the materials they provide.
5. Service providers
We may use hosting, database, authentication, mapping, imagery, measurement, storage, email, text messaging, analytics, security, document, and payment providers. These providers process information to operate the service under their own contracts and privacy obligations.
6. Payment information
Payment providers may collect financial-account and transaction information directly. AZ Roof Estimator does not intend to store complete card or bank credentials when a payment provider can process them.
7. Retention
Records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate projects, document consent, support contractor accountability, process billing, prevent fraud, investigate complaints, maintain security, satisfy tax or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and may be extended when a dispute, investigation, or legal hold is active.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including role-based access and restricted project links. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect passwords, magic links, and private project URLs.
9. Privacy choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or information about retained personal data through the privacy request form. Requests may require identity verification and may be limited where records must be retained for security, billing, legal, or dispute purposes.
10. Communications
Transactional messages may be sent about estimates, bid requests, accounts, commercial projects, applications, payments, support, and security. Marketing messages are handled separately and can be opted out of using the method provided.
11. Children
The service is intended for adults authorized to act regarding a property, business, or construction project and is not directed to children.
12. Contact
Privacy questions may be sent to support@azroofestimator.com or submitted through the contact page.
