PRIVACY POLICY

How information is handled across the estimator and roofing marketplace.

Effective date: August 7, 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect property addresses, location and aerial data, roof measurements, project details, photos, plans, reports, solar and rooftop-equipment information, contact information, account records, contractor credentials, bid activity, private project messages, selections, contracts, payment status, support messages, complaints, consent records, IP addresses, device information, and service-usage data.

2. How we use information

Information is used to provide preliminary estimates, create project packages, match eligible contractors, operate sealed bidding, protect direct contact information, provide private portals, verify credentials, process marketplace payments, prevent abuse, support projects, investigate complaints, improve the service, and meet legal or contractual obligations.

3. Information shared with contractors

Project information needed to evaluate and bid may be shared with invited contractors. Direct homeowner contact information is restricted during initial bidding. A private platform conversation may open after a contractor is revealed, but direct contact details remain blocked in that conversation until an authorized selection or other clear contact-release action. Contractors may not use marketplace information for unrelated marketing, resale, unauthorized door knocking, or disclosure to third parties.

4. Property and project documents

Plans, specifications, reports, photographs, inspection materials, and proposal documents may be shared with approved participants in the relevant project. Users must have authority to upload and distribute the materials they provide.

5. Co-branded planning reports and partners

When you use an active partner link and accept the displayed notice, the named partner may see your name, property address, report type, project timing, report status, and whether you request bids. The partner dashboard does not display your report email address. A partner does not receive contractor access or unlimited permission to market to you through the report program.

6. Attribution, analytics, and session recordings

We may record page views, referral pages, campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers, partner links, anonymous or pseudonymous browser and session identifiers, browser and device details, section visibility, button and link clicks, scroll depth, time spent engaging with a page, form submissions, estimate displays, and marketplace events. These records help us understand which pages and sources produce estimates, partner applications, bid requests, and completed projects.

We may use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings and Google Analytics or Google Ads for traffic, attribution, and conversion measurement. Clarity masks text entered into input fields and selections in dropdown fields. We do not intentionally send contact-form contents, private project messages, uploaded documents, private report tokens, passwords, or payment credentials to analytics providers.

7. Service providers

We may use hosting, database, authentication, mapping, imagery, measurement, storage, email, text messaging, analytics, session-recording, security, document, and payment providers. These providers process information only as needed to operate the service under their own contracts and privacy obligations.

8. Payment information

Payment providers may collect financial-account and transaction information directly. AZ Roof Estimator does not intend to store complete card or bank credentials when a payment provider can process them.

9. Retention

Records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate projects, document consent, support contractor accountability, process billing, prevent fraud, investigate complaints, maintain security, satisfy tax or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and may be extended when a dispute, investigation, or legal hold is active.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including role-based access and restricted project links. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect passwords, magic links, and private project URLs.

11. Privacy choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or information about retained personal data through the privacy request form. Requests may require identity verification and may be limited where records must be retained for security, billing, legal, or dispute purposes. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and cookie restrictions may also limit third-party analytics.

12. Communications and SMS privacy

Transactional messages may be sent about planning reports, bid requests, accounts, partner projects, applications, payments, support, security, roofing proposals, appointments, and project updates. Optional marketing communications require the applicable consent and can be opted out of using the method provided.

If you explicitly opt in to SMS from AZ Roof Estimator, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for help. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing roofing services.

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be provided to communications service providers only as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging service on our behalf.

13. Children

The service is intended for adults authorized to act regarding a property, business, or construction project and is not directed to children.

14. Contact

Privacy questions may be sent to support@azroofestimator.com or submitted through the contact page.
