Terms for residential estimates and competitive roof-bid requests.

1. Preliminary estimate

The online estimate is a planning range based on available property data and project assumptions. It is not a contractor quote, insurance estimate, appraisal, engineering opinion, or promise of final cost.

2. Residential bid request

There is currently no homeowner marketplace fee to request residential bids. Up to three eligible contractors may be invited depending on service-area coverage, roof system, project fit, and availability. A specific number of proposals is not guaranteed.

3. Project information

You agree to provide accurate property, roof, solar, rooftop-equipment, access, timing, and contact information. Missing or incorrect information can change contractor participation, scope, pricing, and scheduling.

4. Sealed bidding and contact release

Contractors do not see competing prices. Direct homeowner contact information remains restricted during initial bidding and is released only through an authorized selection, inspection request, direct-contact request, or other clear marketplace action.

5. Proposal limits

Preliminary proposals may require on-site verification. Hidden damage, decking, code, permits, access, materials, solar, HVAC, electrical work, cranes, curbs, structural conditions, and other verified facts can change the final scope or price.

6. Contractor selection

You choose the contractor. AZ Roof Estimator may organize information and identify proposal differences but does not make the final construction decision for you.

7. Final contract

The selected licensed contractor provides the final roofing agreement. Review the legal company name, license, scope, price, deposits, progress payments, change-order process, warranty, start window, completion terms, exclusions, and cancellation rights before signing.

8. Payments and deposits

When payment-support features are used, funds may be processed through a third-party provider and the selected contractor’s connected account. Refunds, chargebacks, settlement timing, and disputes are governed by the contractor agreement, payment-provider rules, and applicable law.

9. Marketplace support

AZ Roof Estimator can help clarify proposals, facilitate communication, preserve records, and document concerns. It cannot supervise construction, force performance, determine legal fault, guarantee workmanship, or replace regulatory, legal, engineering, insurance, or emergency services.

10. Contractor approval limits

Approval reflects information available during review and may be limited by roof system, territory, project size, crew, and capacity. Screening reduces risk but does not guarantee future performance.
