What AZ Roof Estimator does and does not do.

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Not the roofing contractor

AZ Roof Estimator does not perform roofing work, employ roofing crews, control construction methods, obtain permits as the roofer, supervise safety, or issue contractor workmanship warranties.

Independent businesses

Participating contractors are independently owned and operated. The property owner or authorized buyer contracts directly with the selected contractor.

No guarantee of lowest price or perfect performance

Competitive bidding and contractor review may improve information and accountability but do not guarantee the lowest price, specific savings, future workmanship, completion, warranty performance, financial stability, or absence of disputes.

Preliminary estimates

Aerial measurements, planning ranges, photographs, and visible-condition notes may be incomplete. Hidden conditions, code, engineering, access, permits, materials, solar, rooftop equipment, and final contractor verification may change price and scope.

Not insurance or legal representation

AZ Roof Estimator is not an insurer, insurance agent, public adjuster, attorney, engineer, architect, or coverage representative. It does not interpret policies, determine coverage, negotiate insurance settlements, or provide legal advice.

Not construction management

For commercial and new-construction projects, the platform may organize documents, bidders, questions, addenda, sealed proposals, and comparisons. It does not hire or fire trades for the owner, direct construction sequencing, purchase materials, or act as the general contractor or construction manager.

Approval limits

Contractor approval reflects information available during review and may be limited by roof system, crew, territory, project size, and capacity. No screening process can eliminate every risk.
